Been eavesdropping on this site for awhile, browsing the classifieds. I live in Atlanta right now, butI'm moving to Cali end of July, and I'm looking to get my first bike. I know a lot of you guys advise against the CBR 600's for a first bike, but there are also a lot of posters who seem to think it's not that bad of an idea. I don't want to get something to small and be bored with it after a few months. And the CBR's are just sick, beautiful machines. Also, the hornets are bad ass, but I don't see as many of them for sale.
I'm looking to spend 3,000-4,000 on a CBR that's in good shape. I would prefer an F4i, but i know it might be difficult to find one in that price range. I'm really just looking for a reliable bike I can learn on, and one I won't cry myself to sleep over if I dropped it. Any input/leads are greatly appreciated.
