Can someone tell me what rubber parts I need to put under the sides of the gas tank to make it stay put?  I have some rubber gloves rolled up and stuck in there, but that's a little too ghetto.

Is it Part 20, 29, 21, etc?  And how many of each?

trojan's

i just cut a slit in a piece of fuel line  then put the lip of the tank in the slit so that the rounded part is on the frame and put one on each side of the tank in between the frame and it works great plus its under the fairings so you cant see it.

I know there's the bigger rubber bumper(#20) on the left side of the tank...I'm not positive about the right side. I haven't noticed it on mine. That's about all I can give 'ya.

Damn, i'm going to have to look at mine. When I pulled the tank last year I only had the rubber parts at each mounting bolt. When I bolted it back on it rocked slightly from side to side, but doesn't move or vibrate at all with the fairings on and me on the bike. (and fuel inside)

That's what I wanted to know, the microfiche is really vague.

I can't beleive I didn't think to use fuel hose...  if you're going to ghetto rig it, always think of the BEST way to ghetto rig it.

when i took my bike apart this winter i noticed mine were worn in half and i had some grey foam double sided stickie tape that was the same thickness and width and cut it to length and just used that. worked perfect the foam matched the color of the frame and the other stickie side that faces up still has the stuff you have to peel off to make it stick left on it so it only sticks to the frame
