I thought the K&N allows so much more air that you need to re-jet...otherwise it will run too lean. I don't know, though, I don't have any proof...

Just to add more sense to what I was pretending about oil fluidity, I've noticed today my oil level was low. I can remember the last time I put some into the engine, and it wasn't that long since I did. So I think I'm burning oil and it's also going into my airbox one way or another (maybe when it's too hot, over when reving a lot). That oil is def not made for this bike ... J
