has anyone had any luck with the colored halogen bulbs i want to replace my highbeams with blue

I have a nice Xenon bulb in there right now. I dont know what brand though, but it puts out some nice colored, pretty bright light. Just make sure you dont get one of the higher wattage bulbs or it will melt your headlight housing.(didnt do it, just heard stories)

What do you consider a higher wattage?? what should you use because I was thinking of doing this bulb change too.

yeah i saw that they have the shit show bulbs that are dark blue, i think i just might do the hid conver with angel eyes bike litez has the kits they r just pretty pricey the bulbs have to be 12 volts and 55 watts i kno my 954 takes h7 bulbs

i tihnk the higher wattage bults for 65 watters are 110, or 90?? im not sure, they are just higher than normal halogens.

does using the higher wattage of the colored bulbs cause any problems, like melting of the headligh assembly from the extra heat??  Anyone know what the highest wattage you can go to before you start running into problems?
