Right ! The shipping costs are so expensive !
Well the only way to reduce them would be to find a lad who would also need a complete fairing and hence buy 2 at the same time. I'm not that good at computing numbers, but that woud half down the shipping costs ...
Did anyone said "group buy" ?

BTW, has anyone already ordered one of these ? Is that quality work ?

so i talked with a buddy of mine who ended up buyin a set, he got the repsol, said they are good quality but they still need the holes drilled in them for thr mounting hardware, they also still have the little plastic nubs from the forming but he said they look and fit the ballz with a few minutes of tinkering with hole placment when he gets it on the road ill try and throw a pic up.  didnt see the shipping price so it is to good to be true then......

People are starting importing these to try to sell them in here. With the shipping costs to mainland Europe, they have to set the price pretty high, quite the price of a complete 2nd hand OEM fairing.
These people don't even change the picture on the ad and won"t admit where it comes from (or at least the ad does not show this up)!

dont know if you want to try a place called David Silvers in England. he ships OEM parts worldwide and is very good on price. just had a brand new top cowl off him for my 94 (twin light version) for less than £180. colour matched from the factory as well. www.davidsilverspares.co.uk might be worth a look.

I know this website and already visited it a couple of times. The fact is that since there's a sea between mainland Europe and the UK, the shipping costs are very high (event though I live 50km from the shore where you're supposed to see the UK when it's sunny).
With these shipping costs, we'd rather look at the US. Shipping costs are still higher, but dollar to euro conversion ratio is rather advantageous.
But that's a good thing you remind me of this site. I'm going to have a look on it again just to see what has changed since the last past months ... well, it's rather late around here now, so it's gonna have to wait until tomorrow.
