Juliet -> The most beautiful town ... (5/10/2008 2:52:31 PM)

This is Tenby in Pembrokeshire ... I love this place there is just "something" about it ... I have taken endless pictures of this scene trying to find the "The One" ... this .. whilst not perfect sums up the harbour area for me ... it's a beautiful seaside town with all the Georgian buildings painted in pastel shades :-) ... the tide is out here but when in people start playing in their boats and I can sit for hours and watch them ... I love the Georgian style houses .. they have lovely big square rooms and some of the most amazing sea views ...

Cool - were these pictures taken on the same day?  Looks like you moved a bit down the road...

I think between these two I may have moved a bit but I zoomed on the second one :-) I love zoom as it compresses perspective ...

KidCr3nshaw -> RE: The most beautiful town ... (5/10/2008 3:27:21 PM)

Perspective, funny you say that...

From my perspective, the second picture looks later in the day, and a bit downt the road.  But in the second picture there is a boat missing - so if it was the same day I'd be pretty interested to hear how that one was pulled off considering the missing boat was farthest up the beach and there are no tracks from where it was to where it went...

Must have been a different roll of film...

Juliet -> RE: The most beautiful town ... (5/10/2008 3:34:10 PM)

Sorry Michael the boats look the same to me and I would have only been a few minutes apart between these photos ... I will charge up the camera and check the date/times to see but I am sure these are the same day taken last autumn I tend to take a picture ..zoom ..take another ..zoom ... all so I can get the best view :-)

Jules

EDIT:  ah ha I see the missing boat now so it must be different nights ..lol ..I tend to stand in the same places to take these pictures
also the second picture the sun is on the buildings better ... it sets behind me here :-)

fishfryer527 -> RE: The most beautiful town ... (5/10/2008 3:41:53 PM)

How come it is sunny? Isn't England always rainy or foggy? Are you sure that isn't somewhere in Portugal? The buildings are mysteriously without names on them...HMMMM.....any conspiracy theorists out there?

I think I need a google earth link or else I am not going along with this.
