Stock tire size 06 cbr 1000 rear is 190/50zr17. How many of you guys are still running the stock tire size? Im thinking about going to a 190/55zr17.

Is there a reason you want a taller tire?

Depending on brand, some of them that are 55's will give you a little more arch to the tire. So being a wider tire as is, it will give you a little better turn in.

Going with a 55 rear is the second best upgrade to date.

I just went to a 55 and like it.  It feels better in a curve to me.

For those of you that went to a 55 rear tire, did you make any suspension adjustments to compensate the taller tire?

Hi ,

Why do we need to make any suspension adjustments to compensate ? I think it's just 55 tall only . It's gone like our friends said in wide (depending on the brand you'll get). it doesnt make any change dude .. I have tried both size there is no big different

What upgrade took first place?
