well the tach WORKS but check this.

it wont sweep sometimes wen i turn it to the ON position, then if i ride it and get about 6K (guessing) the guage will start to pick up from zero then if i shift and the revs drop itll go back down to zero. then about 5 mins later it works perfect again and just picks up when im at speed.

WTF?!

then other times i turn it on and it works perfectly fine.

then other times i turn it on and it wont sweep up but itll twitch to about 4K then zero then 2K then zero starting when the countdown is at about 50.

idk what to do at this point.
would this service be covered under warrenty work?
should i video tape it and take it in?
i dont want to pay to fix a problem the bike CAME with.

help?

i would try the warrenty if you got one, make them replace that shiznit.

i think its fried... personally i think either some wiring got loose and its touching stuff and thats making it act wierd, or (more likely) its just toasted.

sorry not much help but maybe you will be convinced to take it in now?
bid tape is a good idea, i hate trying to explain things to mechanics and they have no idea what im talking about

go to the dealer and have them warranty it. if they say that they are not going to cover it then you go through all the wiring mods that you have done and make sure they are ok. then move up to the cluster and checlk all those wires and so on and so forth it will be a pain in the arse but sounds like it is needed. good luck

the buttons on my cluster didnt work, so i took mine into the dealer and they installed a brand new cluster for absolutely free. the only bad thing is i lost my mileage.

thatd be ideal for me.

since i put a small scratch in the tach yesterday on accident

i just need it fixed and all the honda dealers are closed monday around here so it looks like ima just shoot a bunch of video and take it in.

EDIT: i also called the only honda dealer open around here and they said they didnt have a TSB about it..
