Martin_D -> RE: how do professionally remove a headlight (5/10/2008 7:06:43 PM)

just pops straight out ehh?

Onarom -> RE: how do professionally remove a headlight (5/10/2008 7:37:40 PM)

Be careful- some of those screws have tiny little washers that can be lost if your not paying attention during the removal process.

The reinstall is going to be a #$@%*

side question, below the gas tank. Where the little black and white sticker is...is that my frame? and will those scratches on it make the bike totalled?

Onarom -> RE: how do professionally remove a headlight (5/10/2008 9:19:02 PM)

Yes, and yes (well, most likely anyway).

It still looked mostly stock and pretty new. How many miles did you have on the bike? Sorry for your loss.

Shouldn't this be in the "How-To" section? [8D]

LMAO to Onarom's first reply...

thats why you buy your bikes, then if you wreck it you can do w/e you want with it :)

and dude that really blows hard.

are u parting it out or did you sell it off already?

and what happened?

eek..

what a shame. :(

Jreed8721 -> RE: how do professionally remove a headlight (5/15/2008 5:12:38 PM)

yeah, sucks. treated a mountain road like the track, was going eastbound over the same turn for the 10th time within  that hour and it lowsided nearly in the triples.

Bike was able to start back up in my garage but when shifted into first it would cut off.

pending what the shop says about the frame, going street fighter with it

Shitty story but eh, live and learn right?

got home the night i wrecked and my fender eliminator, flush signals and frame sliders had came in the mail
