okay so i still need an upper fairing stay, fairing, headlight assembly, and left multifunction switch. does anyone know how easy/ convienient it is to convert the front to an f2 f3 f4? haha for whatever reason i cannot find a stay. so thats the only thing holding me back from ordering everything else from stores. if anyone has any help itd be greatly appreciated

for parts that you need, look for socalworx on ebay and send them an email. they may have everything you need.

f2,f3,f4 or any other model year cbr will work, but you need everything (rim, rotors, calipers, clip-ons, triple clamps, and fender) as nothing is interchangeable with 87-90. steering tube and bearings will fit 87-90 steering head. but you need to be careful of steering lock to lock, key fob to fairing stay clearance, fork length, clip-on and lever clearance to gauge cluster, and speedo location. f3 and later years do not use cable driven speedos. it is relatively straight forward to do a front end swap, it's the minor details that you have to think about.

well what i was thinking is that they all mount the same on the neck of the front bars. (2 bolts) so y wudnt i be able to just re run the harness, put in a different radiator and find a way to mount the gauge cluster. obviously i was wrong haha. thanks michigan
