The first one is for the petcock vacuum, I have no idea why it has a T in it, it shouldn't...

The other side is probably just a drain hose, cant see where it's attached.

What the heck is that big black pipe/hose on the 2nd picture?

As everyone else noted, the first hose, is the main vacuum line that hooks up to the petcock.

The 2nd hose, looks like it leads to a similar section on on one of the other cylinders. If so, that this is a hook up for the synchronizer, I know some companies, allow you to hook up a semi-permanent hose to each of the vacuum ports to allow easier balancing of the carbs. As long as the hose can withstand the heat and the hose is plugged, I wouldn't imagine it causing to much of an issue.

I'm a little baffled by that big black pipe sticking out too.

Although I can't remember exact position of the VIN number off the top of my head, I do remember that it is usually on a pretty large plate up behind the handle bars on the right side. I think it usually says CBR 600F2 on it, then the VIN number.

1st Picture - Vacuum line connected to the petcock. To bring back to stock, remove the T bracket and the short hose connected to it. What should be left is the original length vacuum hose. Connect that into the male part attached to the head. Tada, that's that.

2nd Picture - I have no idea, there shouldn't be hoses there.

Woo545, he isn't talking about the small vacuum hose that leads into the carb section, he's talking about the huge hose that connect to the front of the engine cover just below the right engine/frame slider mount.

To be honest, let us know what's running in the line so we know what its purpose is. That side of your bike should look like this (mine)

Nothing is attached there. Only big hoses are connected to the radiator.

For the VIN - The stamped lettering (engraved) is located on the right side of the frame (on the side of the right controls/handle). If you look to where the fairing stay is attached at the front of the frame, right behind the two bolts that hold it is the stamp. Hope that helps.

I agree, it also looks like a sort of frame slider, but a bar instead of just little pegs. Where does it connect to the front of the bike?
