That looks sharp and clean.

Sick, wanted to paint mines white too, and this looks perfect.  Did you do the paint yourself?

mikewest -> RE: New pic of the bike (5/11/2008 5:00:56 PM)

No i'm not a painter, I had a guy paint it who did one of my dad's bikes.  All of the candy red is powder coating btw.

Thats a hot bike, definatley cbr of the month material..... have you thought about getting clear alternatives lenses if you are going to keep the stock signals???....

naldge -> RE: New pic of the bike (5/12/2008 7:57:18 AM)

looks good, very clean

krobberts -> RE: New pic of the bike (5/12/2008 7:59:56 AM)

That does look very sharp.  I am not usually a big fan of the clean look, I like to have something to break it up, but that looks really sharp.  I think the red accents are a nice touch.

Yeah i'm thinking about just keeping the stock turn signals for now, even though the clear alternatives are pretty cool imo.  I have a CW fender eliminator, I just haven't mustered up the effort to go out and install it yet lol.

Ruftags -> RE: New pic of the bike (5/12/2008 8:58:37 AM)

That looks sweet man!

ffingers -> RE: New pic of the bike (5/12/2008 9:01:11 AM)

did you drop out the engine yourself to get the frame coated...i am going to do mine eventually...i just don't know if i should tackle dropping it out myself...

mikewest -> RE: New pic of the bike (5/12/2008 10:50:44 AM)

I had a mechanic do all the work. He stripped everything down, ordered the bearings and parts that needed to be replaced, then he put it back together. The engine is a two man job, especially when putting it back in the frame.

how much he charge if you don't mind me asking to drop the engine out and put it back in?
