So I'm planning on buying a '98 F3 in the next day or two. My friends with bikes tell me a great way to increase power is with an aftermarket exhaust and a power commander. The bike already has a carbon fiber aftermarket exhaust so I've been looking at power commanders. From what I gather they're only for fuel injected motors so it obviously wouldn't work on an F3. Is this correct, or can power commanders be used on carbeurated bikes? If not, what are some good options for getting a little more juice out of carbeurated bikes? If you can, please give a short explanation of what it does to create the extra power. The more help anyone can offer the better. Thanks.

PCIII's won't work without FI, just get a jet kit. All either one does is just change how much fuel goes in the engine.

They basically allow the carb to flow more fuel. Get the bike and ride it first before you start dumping money for power into it. You may be suprised at what an F3 can do.
