Well, finally got the right wheel to put on my '94 and I've run into another problem. The new wheel fits great, the speedo gear hooked right up and all seemed well. Took her around the block and noticed that the odometer now turns, but the needle on the speedo doesn't tell speed, just holds at 0 (a little twitchy). Anyone else have this problem? Should I just replace the whole speedo cluster? thanks!

Double check to make sure that the cable is connected all the way, in the process, lube it up.  I would do those things before spending some money.

well I do know that the cable isn't all the way in, most of the way though. Hard to tighten it up into the speedo with the fairings on there, bad angle. Might just have to take them off and try getting it as tight as it will get. It's connected at the wheel fine. Which also reminds me, anyone know where to get a cheap set of wheel bearings? The new front wheel doesn't want to spin freely when off the ground, me think the bearings are bad.
