I've got this 95 900 here with a 93 swingarm and a 98 (or maybe 96) engine in it. The number three con rod threw it's big end bearing and I need to fix it wrong, put it back together, and see if it'll run. The piston I pulled has JE cast into it, did they make pistons for Honda? The rod says CARR and then some numbers on it, no color, no number stamped, just a big V on the cap. Carrillo maybe? My plan is to polish the crank journal, measure it with a caliper, measure the con rod, get a bearing that's pretty close, plastigauge to be sure, slap it all back together with lots of RVT and Copper Coat, and see what happens. Old school bike guys and musclecar guys say I'm totally insane and it'll blow up the first block, but I think she'll live. Hondas are invincible. Can anyone offer positive ideas? I've already heard all the negative ones, thanks. I do have a Haynes manual available and I'm fairly ok with tools, motors, and bikes.

Son, my lawyer's name is Cool Smooth, Jeremy's lawyer's name is Ouch. Your bike is a 95...and don't forget about your custom wheel spacers.
