TRY ONE ON You never know what size, model, brand is best for you until you put them all on.

The real question is whether your head is more oval or round. But ultimately, SpecR is right, you just have to try one on

I wear a 7 1/2 ball cap and almost bought a RF-1000 till I tryed it on. I have more of an oval head and the RF gave me a major headache after 15 min in the store. I wear a Arai RX-7 Nicky Hayden. You can't buy a helment without trying it on. There are about 5 brands I can't wear because they make their helments too round.
