You just need to buy an LED scanner.  Google will bring up plenty.  I dont think there are any "plug and play" LED scanners that will with the cetner light of the CBR.

Here is a link to a Howto on doing this: http://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=74809

More work than I am willing to do, personally

I'm not sure if he's on this forum but i know he's on 600rr.net (name: Tripage)

You can also try contacting him personally through there and he'll send you all the prices and options.  He's very reliable and turnaround time is very good.

I did it using the kit from Tripage.

I used the kit that switches from a single color ( I chose white to match the hid) to the KIT/Knight Rider Eye. All I had to add was my own toggle. Everything else comes in the kit.

Tripage has great products. He does not have this kit on his site, atleast he didnt when I purchased mine. But his response time is second to none!

How difficult was it to install?  Any trimming or cutting of the center light area?

Update:  I got an email from Tripageled.

here is the skinny.

Sorry, we are updating the site completely.  Will try and have everything up this weekend. Here is the info on the third eye and the knight rider third eye for the 07-08 RR.  You will have to remove your mirrors fairing stay bolts for the front fairing and the side plastic pieces on both sides of the headlight.  You can then pull your front fairing down and remove the third eye. Plug n play options.  Replacing led's with a different color or the standard knight rider only option are very easy to install.  The others require a rocker switch or a three way switch to control when you want the option to come on.  Here is a wiring diagram to show how to wire this up.  We recommend you have a volt meter if you are doing this install.  It will make it much easier.   Let me know when you are ready.  Thanks. T   Prices range from $60 to $115 depending on which setup you
are wanting.

You don't have to send us anything if you have an 03-06 600rr or any 1000rr.  07--08 600rr we need your third eye to do the mod in.
The first video is $115 http://youtube.com/watch?v=ubQigeT_Ct8
This is for two colors.  One being knight rider and the other being all solid.
This video led's one color as knight rider.  This is $75 All knight rider only.  This option is plug n play
http://youtube.com/watch?v=UGn_0GDO7Kw
This one with all led's where they can be knight rider or solid
third eye is $100.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z2THa_0NnzI&feature=related
The board has a potentiometer on it so  you can
adjust how fast the knight rider goes.
Pricing includes shipping in the U.S
$60 we will replace your stock led's with brighter white ones or we can install Blue Red Green Amber UV Pink
