I'm Juliet :-) ... I was invited down here by Pete (Shadow) so thought I'd drop in and say hello :-)

Anyway I have a CBR600 F3 ... I absolutely love it to death and have had it for ten years now since I bought it new ..it's quite enough for me!! ... it's quite light and I am also very light so I reckon I can whup you guys any day of the week ;-)

.. well I will be able to when I can ride it again and I'm not dropping it on myself ..lol  ***gets ready to run in case of angering the big bad hurricaners*** ..lol

Here is my bike ...

Welcome & g,day from Australia. Great to see you down here. My Niece rides a VFR 400. She is tall, light, & does whip the a.se of many of the big boys.

Hi and welcome.

Its great to see a lady with a bike and looks after it. Not many down here....

Love the colour scheme....

I'm half way through restoring a 93 CBR1000F. A guy bought it to New Zealand from Australia and gave up on it.

Hoping to have her ready by the start of our summer down here, around November.

Take care and stay upright...

Hi Juliet

Beautiful bike and great write up on counter steering. I am a new rider as of last year and this forum has been extremely helpful. I learned about countersteering reading a post by Mikekop (thanks!)  http://www.cbrforum.com/m_331942/tm.htm  I had a hard time computing it in my mind, then I tried it and it clicked. Its Huge and every rider should be aware, it has saved my a_se a couple times. Good stuff!

Chris

No. It means that you have to stuff those underwear with something more impressive...

Hey, Blue1000F, WHO are you calling a "gamla gubbe"....?  he he, (see, I remembered.)
You CAN teach an old fart new tricks....
And yes, we're always racing other bikes at robots, and sometimes give them a fright.....he he

Drop by anytime, Jules, always welcome in our "funny farm"

That's a beautiful bike.

I'm sure that you, on it, would beat me on my '87. Whether you would beat a good rider on my '87 is another question entirely.

Welcome.

Oh, I'll post pics of my bike as soon as I get the new windshield on it. I had it painted a beautiful blue and have new pipes on it as well. I love it.
