What happens when you have an 500 mile trip and it only goes 200 some odd miles?  Looks cool.

Well think about this. Run an extension cable to someone's house or at a gas station and charge it up for 3 hours. FOR FREE (as opposed to 40 bucks worth of gas)

I realize its much cheaper to drive, but I am truly curious as to if there is a method to accomplishing long drives without 3 hour breaks every 200 miles.

Regular gas just hit 4.05 on Long Island. That thing is really cool. If you had some warm weather, that thing would make a mean grocery getter. Besides who puts more then 200 miles on a car on average a day... You could charge it at work and drive it home. Im down. When are they going to build a CBR like that, I would be interested to see what it could do, especially with the torque on demand!

True... Maybe they will extend battery life or one day gas stations will just be trade in battery kind of deals. just pick up another and give them yours (like propane tanks)

Needs to recharge itself like those electric hybrids do when braking.  The only problem is more parts more weight more something to break that the average joe cant fix.
