did a tune up on a friends 04 cbr 600 and now the f1 and oil light is on.not causing any problems but need to know how to reset them.if anyone nows how please help me.

You first want to at least take a look at the code it is throwing you.  1 long blink = a numeric value of 10.  1 short blink = a numeric value of 1.  So 2 long and 6 short would = 26.

Reference your code to the manual and take a look.  I don't have the bike but youmay have simply forgot to plug a sensor back in.

After that, there should also be a description on how to reset the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp - those blinking lights).  Take a paper clip, find the service lead under the seat (assuming it's there) short the service lead, turn key on, remove paperclip, the lights start to blink and you re-short the lead with the paperclip and remove it within 5 seconds...

Or something like that...
