If you read my thread carefully you would see that I had said my girlfriend was the one who told me that I hit 90+ on the straight away.  My point is I didn't even realize how fast I was going with her on the bike.  "If I wanted to brag I would tell you something about my girlfriend not my bike"...

Thanks for the link and the tips! Im gonna let him read you all's comments next time he's over, maybe that will help him...

Yea jr82374 a case of beer is a VERY precious thing to lose! ha ha (this might be more like a keg tho) ;)
Oh and don't worry those that read your post Im sure knew what you meant on the 90+ thing, atleast I did.

Yea my other bike had the banana seat with grab rail never had any prob with 2 up. Now I have the spilt seat and any girl that rides is always sliding all over the place... Especially after I used leather/vinyl cleaner on it....

Your right it is from Spiderman, and it has a dual meaning behind it. The power of the bike and the responsibility of being a safe driver. But you guys are very good at recognizing that.

As for breaking and keeping your b@lls two distinct seperate objects, start with the back break.... i know its wierd, but you can communicate to the passenger that you are slowing down without creating that massive force forward.  fight all urges to use downshifting to stop unless you have already used the brakes, a sudden down shift creates a huge force forward, and if they aren't prepared, thing 1 and thing 2 will have a very sudden introduction to the tank.

For F4i33, concerning the heavy girl... try to show her how to reach around you and support herself on the tank... that coupled with some strong inner thighs to squeeze with, and you should have a comfortable ride.

I was seeing a girl that said she wouldn't ride in my S2000 because it was unsafe, but she would ride on the motorcycle with me. I know, they are all crazy.

My girl is too smart to ride on back of a motorcycle.. we are the dumb ones for riding.

I hate riding 2 up.  It's not fun for me and I don't think it's that safe.

Rojer, I'm sure this has been said somewhere else, but I still just want to say that I love the picture of your 2007 CRF50 in your signature.  It takes the cake.

It's nice to share some experiences like that, but since I ride my own bike I actually can't stand being a passenger. I hate being out of control.

+1 on that! I hate that feeling of helplessness.  Nothing against those that ride double *I still do it if one of the bikes is out of comission* but there is a reason I bought my own.

I would try to pump the brakes on and off when you would come too a stop.  Use both brakes, if that still doesn''t work maybe it is too much weight afterall.  Just make believe you are hauling a case of beer on the seat behind you and its the last case on earth.  You will see how much you will straighten out that problem!

That''s just Grip-It material for lining tool boxes and the like.  You can pick it up at Sears for $15/roll.
