I have a Corbin seat front and rear for a 2006 F4i that is in like new condition.
Carbon fiber black.

You are correct. The stock seat is a banana seat. There are two individual parts to a Corbin. Front seat and then the rear seat. Mount the front seat and the rear part slides into a bracket and then locks down. The bracket mounts to the frame.
Really liked the look. I sold the bike and kept the seat. I ride a Honda St1300.
