I'm glad to see you kept the HONDA at the bottom.  The only other thing I would have done was keep the honda wings on the gas tank, but thats just me.  Looks real good though!

nope...not sure what everyone else was talking about that said it wasnt do-able but mine came right off...had to put a good amount of elbow grease/time into the tank but overall it WAS possible.....heat with blow-drier, scrape sticker with plastic scraper, repeat.

the fairing f4i stickers came right off in 2 seconds. leaves an indent in the paint but nothing you can notice from a few feet back...i like it.

i have one more finishing touch waiting to come and then itll be done...many won't like it but it will have a meaning behind it. pics will follow eventually

ny450, did you buy your bike used? or have it repainted? because the stickers on the tank should have been underneath the clear coat, as all f4is came that way. also, the f4i sticker on the side fairings are one piece that are connected the the silver part of the wing. sounds like your bike may have been dropped and repainted....

Thats what I was thinking. I know the tanks are under the clear and the f4i is a part of the wing for fact. I doubt a f4i made out of the plant different.

I took most of mine off.  I would love to get the tank ones off but they are under clear coat.

yeah i got it used.

p.o. said it was dropped at slow speeds but mentioned nothing about being repainted...the tank has the indent from the sticker just like the tail section stickers do so it wasnt just slapped on. the tank sticker took forever and came off in tiny little peices so its possible i brought it up with the clear coat..not sure but whatever it was worked in my favor because i am now stickerless just like i wanted the f4i's also are indented into the paint but they werent part of the wing.

I did something sort of in the middle. If you use a razor blade you can keep the line seperating the lower fairing wing from the tank.

shawnyc01f4i, that looks pretty good!

ny450, whether your bike has been repainted or not, it still turned out pretty good. as long as your happy with it, thats all that matters. youre luckier than some of us, its gonna be a pain for me to remove the same stickers as you

yup, definitly happy with the look...and it definitly is a cool feeling to have a bit of a different look to a very popular bike.

slip on i got on ebay "used" for $100. a steal is an understatement, looked like it had been mounted, started, and taken off..probly too loud for the person.....i personally love the sound.
