what the F#$% happened? I've been lost since the site has been down but I have made good use of my time.

I helped a friend find a steal on a high mount hindle, used but flawless for $140 and I put it on for her to seeing I had nothing better to do besides conversate with the wife so I figure I would do the exhaust instead....lol

it came out nice but we still have to either order a 02 eliminator or cut the 02 sinsor bung off the stock pipe and have it welded onto the new mid pipe.

it was a lil more difficult than I thought because she has an 06 and it was supose to fit 01-06 but the high mount bracket didn't match the holes from the passenger pegs as it does for the 01-03's
but I got passed that also there are 2 bolts one on each side that hold the banana seat plastic to the bike, no passenger pegs, no hole for the bolts to go into.

then we had lowered her bike prior because she is barely 5 foot tall and could barley touch on her tip toes.

this caused some fitting issues as well plus the pipe was too close to her turn-signals which had to be relocated lower

so its done looks sweet but a 30min job turned into a 2hr job.

anyways I'm glad your back forum!

lol

actually it was like a 3hr job because I had to find a metal container small enough to put the 02 sensor in and seal off until we get the eliminator!

I like the new pic Nibb. +1 on the forum.  I thought my compt just goofed and didn't think about it again until today I thought "I haven't got any new sub notes for awhile"......Checked again and wasn't there so nice to see the new sub notes.  Don't want anyone to have probs but nice to know there's a family to turn to.
