ORIGINAL: zeroed out Lowered 3" are you nuts? I'm 5'1, 110 lbs. Don't have a choice. I already talked to the shop about it they told me it would be fine. I don't do any freeway riding anyway. Just go to work and class so I will be fine.

Didn't I see you on pndub? Welcome to the club! Sorry didn't mean the corny rhyme :P But about the bike, if you lower it that much it'll bottom out on speed bumps and such. Stiffen up the suspension, and see what parts of the bike are now closer to each other than they should be! Don't know about those brake pads. I got EBC pads from bikebandit.com. Brake pads and tires are two things I'd rather spend money getting than risk unknown ebay deals.

WOW! Really nice deal Id say. Was it just a random buy or did you get it from a friend? I just paid 2200 for a 94 F2 and I thought that was a pretty good deal.

great deal, I have a girlfriend that vertically challenged as well and we had to lower her bike to compensate for the the lowering of the bike, but since your feather light your weight won't cause the front to compreess that much. my wife rides as well and I can ride her bike but If I brake hard the front touches the front tire hugger a bit but not with her and the same for our girl friend bike. I'm about 6 foot 250lbs, oh and no I'm not lucky enough to have a wife and a girlfriend on the side who both ride and are cool with that. but oh to dream! lol

I'm not used to the kickstand, my other bike the kickstand was either all the way down or up, there is no in between. Well I ended up dropping the bike today because of it. I wasn't even on it, I pushed it out of the parking pass and put it on the kickstand, started putting my gear on, 4 seconds later it drops on the curb and cracks the tail fairing! Its a small crack but I'm pissed. Good thing I didn't go for that paint job yet.
