Hi, I finally got the bike back together and ran into a huge issue. I tried to start it for the first time. New battery charged up, new plugs and the bike ran for about a second. Then it quit. So far through troubleshooting using the factory manual, I have noted that: - main fuse was blown - most instrument panel lights have blown - tail lights blown - Coils have infinite resistance (blown) - Voltage regulator is shot - the clutch switch is fried. Before I started it up, I assumed that there was a neutral safety switch not knowing that I needed to pull the clutch in to start it. So, currently, the motor turns over with the clutch switch disconnected. I tested the continuity of the clutch switch wires and there was tone, I followed it to the starter relay so it seem that it had a short to begin with. On a side note, the fuel pump relay didn't work before this happened. I was using gravity to feed the carbs until I can get a replacement. So I need help in determining the cause of this. I don't want to throw parts at it hoping it will magically get solved. Thanks in advance, Mike
