I'll check the pix of my conversion, not sure if any have good views of the wiring or not. You dont have to change the tank, but you need to change the rear tank mounting bolts to the ones used on the 01 -03's as they're design to support the riders weight. Without em the riders weight puts pressure on the fairing n it may crack.

Ohh ok cause i was woundering why my tank is not sitting right on there. So I need to get the rubber pieces for 01-03 model. thanks

I have pics but it's a bare subframe, which wires are you talking about?
Gas tank is the same. And you don't need to change it.

just the bolts, the grommets are the same.

ok ....what about that little notch thing were the front seat goes into does it go on top of those grommets?

ok ....what about that little notch thing were the front seat goes into does it go on top of those grommets?
the ECU sets on top of the battery, rectifier goes on the left side where the bolt holes are, relays go on the right and 'should' have tabs to slide onto.
The grommets should be on the tank itself, the seat catch is the same just the bolts are different.
