After having my battery explode on me, I keep blowing the 10amp Ignition fuse as soon as I turn the key to 'on'. Where do I start?

you either have an exposed wire or a short somewhere. I would start with the battery cables and trace them.

I didn't do anything else when the battery blew.

Today my boss and I started to dig into the bike. We started with the tail and made our way as far as the coils. We examined all wires and tested each connection with no sucess. The only thing that made a difference was disconnecting the PCM.

black box meaning pcm?

what we did was disconnect one thing at a time and test to see if it would blow the fuse. the only thing the didn't blow the fuse when we had it disconnected was the large black box rear of the rectifier (pcm right?)

Right. That is your PCM or ECU. Did you check the wires coming out of the PCM/ECU? It probably hurt to buy another one just incase. I just went to ebay and typed in "cbr f3 ECU and 13 came up. I personally like PARTSZPARTS because they buy fully runnning F3's and strip it down to nothing and sell everything off of the bike for less. They had a couple listed for 49.99. One off a 96 and the other off a 97.

So we did more testing today.

Conclusion is that the PCM/ECU/CDI box has an interal short, and also, I had a blown relay. I know where I can find the box, where can I get the relay?

This is it:
