Heres a question.

On most of the newer bikes, the rider/passenger seat doubles as a storage container. Making it usefull to just store your registration paperwork and what not. incase you get pulled over, and get asked for "License's and registration"

But on the older bikes, theres no storage unit. So other than a tank back, or seat bag, or backpack. is there anyway to install some kind of small storage unit? or better yet, anywhere on the bike to store your registration paperwork? kinda like in a car, its allways in the glovebox, what about us guys with the older bikes?

I never ride without my jacket so I have them in an inside, zippered pocket.

There is a storage unit. Its under your seat (duh), pull off your right side tail. Ez access. Make sure u store everything in a water proof bag though.

My bike has a little tool box that pops open by the battery.  Just stick a key in the locking screw, turn, pop off the tail fairing, and open it up.  It is on the left side if your on the bike, it actually says tools on it too so its not hard to miss.

In my wallet.  In my jacket when I ride, in my pocket when I drive.  The ins/reg stays in the cars, the ins/reg for the bike is behind my ID.  Easy that way.

I had an '88 Ninja 750 last year, no storage place. So I found a little platic tube laying around (about 4in long), put the papers in there, and zip-tied it to the frame under the seat.

Just gotta make-do with what you have.
