I posted this in the modded section but thought everyone else here might wanna look:

hey there everyone,
Thanks to everyone who made this possible but now i have a really good looking bike after a few months of
building up money and a whole lot of blood sweat and tears...  in any event i bought this bike from a local and
paid $1250 for a '94 Honda cbr 900rr with about 60,000 miles or so... not a bad deal i think.  It had already been
modified with higher cams and risers and has one hell of a kick... owner said it is happiest cruising at 160?? ha!
It was mechanically sound but the outside needed some work.  It had the original 94 fairings which some were
cracked and literally falling off.. went streetfighter there for a while and then bought some used but newer fairings
(95!!) and i modified the tank to have a real nice indention in it (there was a bad bend in it before!) and i ordered some
convertibars for better comfort (still waiting on longer brake cables)  take a look and tell me what you all think and if
you have any questions... Thanks

i like it .. i to have a 93 900 which was wrecked and also went w/newer fairings. however i'm still looking for the small light over the headlghts, but i love the look. my other bike is also a 93 900rr red, white & blue in excellent shape w/20k miles. both of my bikes were identical it's funny to see the side by side they look nothing alike now. did you use a 95-97 mirrorstay bracket or did you paint the original silver?

tampa: everything pretty much just bolted on but the front fairing is going to need the
front fairing bracket and the original speedo cluster is not going to quite fit to the mounting
points on the fairing bracket... I mounted it only using one bolt and it has seemed fine for now...

ron: i used the newer mirror stay the original was a little bent they both looked pretty much the same though.... not sure if the old one would have fit...

thanks for the compliments...
