Hey Guy's

Looking for some help.  I charge up the battery.  Holds a charge at about 13 volts.  I did a leak test  and there is no draw on the battery so there should be no short.  The regulator seems ok aswell.  If i boost the bike it starts no problem.  I can let it run for 15 minutes, shut off the bike, and start it up again right away no problem.  When running, the batery reads at around 14 volts.  Once i shut it off for about 5 minutes and the bike has had time to cool down, i try to start it and it wont even turn over.  It is like the battery is dead. Does anyone think it is the stator.  Please let me know what you think. Thank-you for your time

If you're getting 14v when the bike is running, the stator should be ok, but maybe not.  What's the voltage of the battery after you have run the bike for the 15 mins?  If it's 13v or so, battery and charging circut is probably ok.  Might be your selonoid.  Do all your lights work ok after your 15 mins of running?

While the bike is charging its voltage is around 14.  To start the battery is over 13 volts.  Once the bike starts once, the battery drops to around 12 volts.  It seems that the bike is charging but the battery wont keep the charge.  I put this battery in a couple months ago.  I think it might be the battery but it is brand new

Your battery might have a dead cell.

the same thing happend to me, my bike run for a two hour trip then it cut off, the rectifier was smoking, so i took it to the honda shop and they told me my battery was bad and i had it less than a month, they also said the rectifier was bad, and that my stator needed replaced too, my bike done the same thing when he tested it, the battery was fine (new battery) and when it run for like 5 minutes the volts dropped...
