Look at Sargent Seats.  They are formed gel seats.  Not formed concrete like Corbin.

There is no such place.  Corbin's suck.  They aren't "softer" than stock and never really break in.  Also, I had to mess with bracket to get the seat bolt holes to line up even though there was a sticker on the seat that said "bracket OK" of something to that effect.  WTF?  If I had an '07 or earlier I would try a Sargent or get the stock seat redone.

A guy I worked with said the exact same thing.  Their seats are hard and they don't break-in, despite what Corbin says.  Do they still have their no returns policy?  If so, I say screw Corbin!!!  Buy something else.

I am pretty sure that both companies have a no return policy.

Yes, there seats are hard, but there are too many people that swear by them. It is the shape of the seat that makes the difference. It gets you off the tank and doesn't give you any "hot spots".

For example, the 06 gixxer 1000 has a much softer seat than the CBR1k, but it kills my arse after about an hour of riding. I am much more comfortable on my harder CBR seat than that soft gixxer seat any day!

In short: Soft doesn't equal comfortable.

I've used both seats... the Corbin is a little bit softer than stock but not nearly as soft as the Sargent.  I'd recommend Sargent over the Corbin with softness in mind.  The Corbin isn't a bad seat just not as impressive as the Sarg.

They have to swear by them.  They're too embarrased to have spent $300 on a turkey.  The corbin I had didn't eliminate hot spots just delayed to onset a bit.

While that's true the concrete like hardness of the Corbin certainly doesn't equal comfort either.

Looking at Sargent's web site, it appears they offer a 30-day money back guarantee.  I'm willing to pay a restocking fee if necessary, but there's no way I'm buying a seat that can't be returned.  That's just stupid.

I have a corbin...more comfortable than stock because it's wider, but still stiff. Quality isn't the greatest especially for the price...$310.00.

Love my sargent, and not just cause i cant return it anymore. Its not super soft or anything, but its a bit wider, and just really comfy. Looks a hell of a lot nicer then stock also. I can honestly say i would never go back to stock again.

my corbin was 250 shipped, prolly the best investment I have in my bike. Looks amazing and on my 500+ mile journey in one day (Daytona 200-Bike week) my arse felt as if it was being rubbed by two aisian mesus''es. My whole body was sore w/ the exception of me arse. Corbin rules.
