Does anyone know if a 1995 cbr 600 motor fits a 1993 chassi with out any problems.
I don´t want to do alot of rewiring and all kinds of problems. If it doesn´t fit, with out
problems I´m not going to do it.

Yes,it will bolt in with no problems whatsoever.

Yes,you can run it on your F2 harness and CDI.

Yes,it is the way to go.The F3 motor is that much of an improvement over the F2.No,it's not gonna give you R1 power, but it will shift easier/smoother and the synchro ratios are closer together. You'll dig it    .

that's awesome.  You're so emphatic about it, I'd almost think you're selling F3 engines. ha.

I noticed that you'd done it.  I'm hoping I won't ever need to attempt the swap, but it's nice to know it's a realatively simple option.

Does anyone know if the F3 oil pan will fit a F2 motor???

I''m picking up a 96 F3 motor minus the carbs for $100.  I just need the oil pan off it but I don''t know if it will fit and if not I may just throw it all in there  :)
