900FighterRR -> RE: Oil Leak from Pulser Cover (6/8/2008 12:18:17 PM)

I had the same issue without the crack, but if you have a replacment then your good. I actually reused my original gasket after cleaning it with wax and greese remover and then used Three Bong Liquid gasket on both sides of it to ensure total seal. Works perfectly after 300 miles. I used the same method on the oil pan and T. Chain cover with new gaskets and there isn''t even oil sweat. You definietely need to replace the pads, once oil touches those it is impossible to ever get them cean and all you will do is contaminate your rotors. Good luck and don''t ride again until you know all leaks are resolved. Good luck
