ORIGINAL: redzintimidator I prefer silders...i dropped my bike in the garage and didnt touch anything but the slider. If i were stuntin, i would get a cage, but for regular street riding, a cage would pretty much only protect you just as much as sliders. Overall, very happy with my $20 investment[:D] What? Do you even know ANYONE who dropped their bike (not stationary) with sliders and didn''t damage fairings? A couple of my friends dropped their bikes at 25mph and smashed their sliders along with plastics. Sliders are only good if you lay your bike when it''s stationary, period. I have a friend who dropped his bike with a cage going 80mph on the highway, and the bike just slid and had NO damage. You can''t possibly say that a cage and sliders are equivalent... that is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard.
