no dampener....guess i just got lucky...eventually ill get enough balls to try them some more. still not getting near the bp on sitdowns, tryin them in first gear...only sitdowns right now though. the only problem with a sitdown is it feels high as hell but like everyone says, im not getting as high as i think...practice practice practice i guess....

try 2nd standups they are pretty easy. stand ups are easier than sit downs and you can steer them much more. plus you can see

nah, both on the regular pegs. you could move it if you wanted to but I dont see any reason to. its is easiest to just leave right where you started. I think that would make it a whole lot harder to keep it straight especially if you were just startin out.

I was one of the feww that voted "I hate wheelies" but I dont actually hate them. I think its cool when I see ppl doing them I simply have no desire what so ever to try one myself. I love my bike, and I dont want to risk damaging it for a stupid wheelie. Someone wrote on this forum a long time ago that no one is going to run out and give you $500 after you pull a cool wheelie, so why risk it?

also you can fabricate or buy a tail guard for wheelies (it's a "U" shape piece of metal that goes around your tail).. pretty much you can do low speed wheelies and find your balancing point, if your bike goes over the balance point your tail guard will hit the ground and your bike will be vetical (i hope no one does this on accident, you would be shitty for balancing) but you can adjust it so if you hit 80 degrees or so, it will touch the ground and it will bring your bike back down.. i guess it's called a wheelie bar too but it's not connected to the swingarm..

there is always a wheelie machine, you actually hook up your bike to the machine (your front wheel on a trampolin) and back wheel on a dyno.. then you can practice popping wheelies and if you fall off, your bike is in one piece and you just took a 0 mph fall.. I have only seen wheelie machines online pictues.. i think they might be in motorcycle shows, or you will have to call around.. it's the best way to learn (it's just like a dyno, so someone's got to have one)

but I think im going to get a stunt bike and just cage the whole outside, something to F around with and not worry about (probbly the same year bike as my other.. just in case i'm switching up parts)..

well that is some of the ways you can find your balance point, the safest is probbly doing the wheelie machine... but never seen one in real life man =/

I practiced wheelies on my F2, but then I got the RR, so much easier to get it up. I'm afraid when I hit the powerband that I'll 12 the sucker (which I almost did on tuesday). I just have to ride the RR more than a week and get used to the power to actually stunt more.

you definitely want to be able to do stand up and sit down wheelies in all gears shifting up and down through them before you even think about attempting to put your bike all the way back on a wheelie bar. Not a good idea...
