I have the Blk 07 model. Looking at the carbon KR Tuned and Yoshi. I''m not too worried about the HP, I got a 1000. LOL. I''m looking for one for sound and looks mostly. Has a D&D on the old bike so not tryin to be deaf again. Any suggestions on those 2 or anyothers? Not Two Brothers, everybody and their mom has them.

Two Bro''s...

Looks good and has the best sound for a slip on IMHO.

I would go Yoshi. I had a leo Vince and loved it But I actually went out and bought a yoshi full system this time. Now one thing I have seen with two bros pipes is that we had a special one night at a shop here getting bikes put on the dyno. Everyone with a two bros pipe actually lost horse power. The reason for that is that there is that they loose back presure. If you want a loud pipe and don''t care about power then go that way but if you want to keep what power you got I would go yoshi.

The Yosh pipes for Honda are crap, they sound like crap and have no gains. Jardine is the way to go or KR Tuned.

You, sir, are misinformed. There are pipes with more gains than a yosh, but it still will give you more HP.

Sound is an opinion- I like the yosh. But that also depends what bike its on.

Actually, Arata and Akro will yield the most HP on the 1000RR, so I guess you could say they are the "Best"

Go with what you like. I bought a Scorpion becaus of the looks, uniqueness and cost. I''m happy with it.

Tried the new R77 on my 08 and it is crap, no gains and sounds like crap. I did a lot of research and spoke with the guy who dyno''d the bike and he verified Yosh was overated for Honda 1000''s. I have ran Leo Vince, 2 Bros, Yosh, KR Tuned and Jardine on my bikes and Yosh is by far the worst on the Dyno.

Ahhh, well I haven''t researched the ''08 at all. I was still talking 06-07. I have heard that the Jardines on the ''08s are really nice and good on the hp increase.

Not to hijack this thread too much, but I also recently got an 07 in blk/gry. I had a Two Brothers on my old 600rr and liked it for short trips. But in any distance riding you start to lose your hearing. I have been searching for an Arata slip-on in Black Matte or carbon fiber. But the prices are around $850+/-. I know why its higher price, but if anyone knows of a place or site that you can find them for cheaper, I''d appreciate it!

Also, those with experiance on Arata''s. Does the Oval come out crooked to the side instead of straight out? I''m still debating between the Oval vs Trap styles.

go for the crooked pipe it ads charater.  i have the oval Sato.  yeah its crooked, but it makes power that was the whole point of the pipe.

if all you want is something loud buy a d&d or harley it and have a muffler shop make a straight pipe.
