I went out to eat with my wife (she didnt wanna ride the bike, was too hot for her, but not for me) but anyways I take off and catch up with my wife, and some asshat in a Camaro gets right on my ass then flys by me....so the  we both are sitting at this stop light and he yells, "wanna go" and I say, "I dont want you to waste your gas" and he starts laughing, "its only a 600" and he starts reving...so what the hell, I take off, hes way back, then he turns off....kinda funny how people with stock mustangs,camaros/trans am''s think they can beat my bike...

its crazy how people underestimate the 600''s, theres not many cars on the road that can take a 600 sportbike

Well, I would say every year manufactures keep making cars that are more and more potent on the street.  There are a ton of cars that run 12''s anymore stock and with a few mods I don''t think it''s that unfeasible to keep up with a 600 at least.  A co-worker of mine raced a new Z06 on his Gixxer 1000 from a 40 roll to top speed at 187mph and he said he was only 3 car lengths ahead of it.  I believe the Z was stock too.

However, encountering these cars on the street is another story.

Dead serious. Funny thing is that she thought her car could get up to 180mph.

name some stock cars that are affordable that run 12''s? and stock meaning, nothing has been done, I had a 95 formula that ran 12.9''s with about $2k in the engine and I still got beat by my buddys old 03 600rr. there are stock cars that run 12''s but nothing that 20 year old guys are going to be able to afford. and you compare a z06 to a 600 which is l i k e what $65K...people crack me up when they compare an expensive ass sports car to a $8k bike brand new...

as far as the crop dusters...I was next to one yesterday...he FLEW by me!

Hahah, speaking of that.. one day I was bored so I took the 5.0 out and wore a motorcycle helmet with the top down.  I had a friend with me who was doing it too.. we called it rally commuting.  Lol but anyways I drag raced a guy in a GSXR who couldn''''''''t keep up and when he pulled up beside me at the next light we both pulled our helmets off and he told me how his clutch is going out so he can''''''''t do that stuff.  I didn''''''''t expect to win though cause it''''''''s only a 5.0.. my BMW on the other hand can give some riders a run for their money in the twisties if they are a bit ginger about leaning into the curves. Eh.. anyways CARS=CARS, MOTORCYCLES=MOTORCYCLES. I''ve never seen any point in trying to compare the two.

I always harassed a Buddie of mine about his r6 being slow. I told him 1/8 mile race, his r6 vs my banshee. he always talked trash saying he would win. when he saw my banshee and i told him it was for pinks...he changed his mind. 420cc alcohol banshee or a 600cc r6?

What does price have to do with anything I said?  Absolutley nothing.  I simply said there are a good bit of cars on the road these days that can run 12''''s bone stock, and there are.  I never said any jo-blow can go buy one?????

And what do you want people to compare a bike too?  A Hyundai?  A Neon?  If you''''re going to compare a bike vs. a car then price shouldn''''t even be mentioned because obviously the bike is going to be cheaper by a shit-ton, it''''s a no brainer.
