I don''t know if the overflow is supposed to be drawn back into the system as my bike didn''t have a pipe inside the overflow tank. I fitted one anyway. Not given me any trouble & good insurance for $2.00.

Good point BB.  I''ll have to look into that.  It makes sense that it should be able to take in coolent as well as expell it.....
