Selling my ''87 Honda CBR 1000F Hurricane. Condition: Very clean bike overall. You''d be hard pressed to find a nicer one anywhere for the money. Adult ridden and maintained, new zero gravity smoked screen, recent service, new battery and newer tires. I can''t think of anything this bike will need, ready to ride all summer long! 13K original miles Basically, I bought it last summer as I got "that itch" (my fellow motorcyclists know what this is) to have another bike, and this one peaked my interest due to it''s rarity and exceptional condition. Unfortunately, selling due to no time to ride w/ job demands and small children. $3500 PICS: I hope it goes to a good home Quote from previous owner''s ebay ad description before I bought it last summer: "Hello I have up for action a nicely restored 1987 CBR1000F HURRICANE This bike is in great condition with new base coat clear coat paint job, new tires and complete service. Here is a few things done to it. New fork seals, carbs cleaned and synchronized, valve clearance adjusted, changed and flushed radiator, front tire Dunlop 110 80 ZR17, rear tire Avon Azaro 150 70 ZR17, new front and rear brake pads. Bike frame and engine painted. All body panels painted base coat clear coat with a deep red gloss finish. Paint looks great in person its about 2 month old. It was watersanded and polished. The front fender was trimmed for a different look. I also have the original style fender painted to match. You can see it in the picture of the 3 bikes siting on top of shelf. It will be included in case you want it completely original. The decal set is from a 05 CBR1000RR. The original HURRICANE decal set is still available. Windshield is in good clear condition. All lights, turn signals, brake lights and horn work. It has a FERRACCI carbon fiber pipe and header. The muffler has some damage as pictured but does not affect the performance. It sounds great. I also have the factory exhaust should the buyer want it. This bike runs strong with great acceleration. It is definetaly fun to ride. Transmission shifts smoothly, engine idles smoth, no hesitation (you better hold on). If you know your Hurricanes this is a nice clean, reliable example of one. I fixed this bike to keep. Dont have much time to ride anymore. We have a 2 year old and a 5 week old. I hate to get rid of it. Too many bikes and not enough time. I am also selling my wifes bike in a seperate auction. Please email me with any questions and I will also send you pictures at your request. I will assist buyer with pickup and/or shipping. Buyer is responsable for all shipping arrangements. I may deliver the bike for you within 100 miles for a fee. If you want to fly in and ride it home I can pick you up from the Greensboro NC airport. Please contact me for any arrangements." Since I bought it in July of last year: new clutch (long story short, one of the previous owners was in the clutch, and didn''t torque the primary nut back on properly, causing the bolt to back out and cause premature clutch failure. To the tune of $500, I had a brand new OEM Honda clutch put in) serviced last fall new Zero Gravity smoked windshield Bike is ready to ride! Extras available (Arai Okada 1 helmet [M], Honda racing leather jacket, gloves, another leather motorcycle jacket w/ vents, AGV helmet [M]) PRICE: $3500 Hope it goes to a good home:) Thanks for looking! bryman
