I have an 02 cbr 954 that is not getting fuel.  The plugs are good and the fuel pump is new and seems to be working.  I have a good spark but for some reason its not getting fuel so the bike will not start.  I have no codes.  Can anyone help or have any sugestions on what to look at.

thanks
Mike

Seems to be working, or is working? Can you hear it prime up? Who installed the new pump?

Yes I can hear it prime up.  Guy who had it before me had it done at a shop.  I said seems to because if it''s not getting fuel It could be the pump that is the problem but I can hear it prime but it''s not getting fuel

Not trying to doubt your mechanical ability or anything, but gotta ask since i dont know. Do you know for a fact your not getting fuel at the injectors or fuel rail? Even with the pump priming it could be tip over switch, or relay. I also assume it ran since you''ve had it and it just stopped working, or did you get it in this condition? Sorry for so many ?''s but its hard to diag over the net sometimes.

Hey TK, Im not going to put money on it, but i dont think it will prime with the TOS out of order or the relays. Everything electrical must be ship shape or it wont prime. I have my upper fairing off and will check the TOS tmr to see for sure......

Sorry I will start from the begining.  The guy I bought it off of took it apart to have it painted and it ran fine before this.  Since putting it back together it would not start.  He took it to a shop and they told him he needed to replaced the fuel pump and relay.  Still would not start and he did not want to put anymore money into so he left it alone and bought a new bike.  I come along and make an offer and he takes it to my suprise.

Now it has a spark and I replaced the plugs.  Does the tip over sensor affect the spark or fuel?  What would affect the delivery of fuel.

Please doubt my mechanical ability you will not hurt my feelings.  Thank for all help already  Great site

Actually when i said relay i was thinking the fuel cutoff relay under the seat. I will go down and check that in a bit. Now with the new info i would also check hose routing and make sure one didnt get pinched. Maybe take  the pump out and make sure the strainer and filter are on properly. Recheck all the basics.

ok what i tried to say before, shortened version. Could condensation from an open fuel rail get into the injectors and corroded them causeing them to not pass fuel? maybe while the bike was apart getting painted it too on some water into the injectors and they are bad now.

Be tring to post not working.  hope this works
Fuel cut off relay and engine stop relay have been replaced.  How hard is it to get to the injectors?  Wouldn''t show a code if the injectors were the problem.

^ Not necessarily, and i doubt all 4 injectors are messed up. You could have 1 messed up but then it would prolly fire up and just run like crap. Do the hose disconnect into a bucket or can and see if the pump is moving fuel.
