There''s alot to be said for the good old f-h. Reliable, comfy and above all, a pleasure to ride. I love taking girls on the back. Looking out the window at the mo and I feel another ride coming on.

When I bought mine, the previous owner''s wife was pretty pissed off at him for selling the CBR. He had been thinking about swapping it with his dad''s ST 1100, but the wifey said "definately NO!", she was more comfortable on the CBR, and she was not a small lady, believe me!

My wife has ridden the back of my ''87 since I first bought it new. She''s fallen asleep back there several times. Oh, and the 400 four is one of my all time favourite bikes.Your dad has good taste in wheels. I must admit, I''m very pleased that neither of my two kids are interested in getting a bike. I have mixed feelings about my wife wanting to get her licence. Very much a "do as I say" not "do as I do" sorta thing.

I knew a girl once who really liked to ride on mine. She liked to call me daddy, too. I thought it was very weird and inappropriate so I pushed her off the back one day into the dirt. I haven''t seen her since.

Hehehehe there''s funny stuff herein. And the ''Cane is much more comfy with a pillow on, not a pillion.

I accept he was out of line, but grab MY elbows on the bike and it''d be the LAST time you rode pillion with me-ever (assuming we survived the incident.....) Not wise.

I know Pete but I was only 18 and he WAS waaay out of order .. try 80mph in a 30mph zone ..after he was done I did it briefly to let him know how pissed at him I was .. plus I didn''t care if I ever rode pillion with him again ..
