So a buddy of mine and I got together and replaced the trannsmission with a new one.... long story, I bought a used bike, didn''t know the guy had raced it, and I got stuck with the about-to-fail tranny; which it did (a bent shift fork and ground out gears 1 and 2)..... so we put in a whole, brand new one.

Anyway, shifting is now much harder than it was before.  It''s a little stiff to shift from N to 1, but its really tough to go 1-2, little easier 2-3, and the same hardness to go 3-4, 4-5, 5-6.  It shouldn''t be a damaged part; nothing had any signs of wear and everything look good when we put it all in.

The bike doesn''t creep forward at all ever, so I know the clutch is fully disengaging.  Any ideas?
