How much is too much...gotta be one of the oldest questions in the history of thinking...how much acid is too much...how little of a handgun will protect me...how much blow will it take to choke that hooker...how much power does a new motorcyclist need...how big does a planet have to be in order to seem flat...why do I think Justin Timberlake is hot?

That is the whole point of this question.

Do people riding for a long time, seem to answer "No" more often than those who''ve been riding a shorter time.

I think so, and  I think that means something.

Vespa or go home.

That $hit killed me!!

I started on an F4, and after 2 years still havent put it down, or had any accidents (knock on wood).  It all depends on the rider. Id give my gf a vespa for starters... way too blonde.  Some punk kid that wants to look cool... start on a 250...  Someone that knows and respects what a bike can do to you, pry a 600.

I started on 125 Honda Scooter and I was 6'' and 215 lbs. Course I was also 15.
All my friends laughed when I pulled up to school on it, then they realized I could drive my self and not ride the cheese wagon.
I would say if your under 24 go older or under 600. Over 25 non race replica 600. Over 30 you got enough life insurance, rocket propled turbo charged with a doulbe shot of nitrous.

I am 29 and ride a 2001 F4i, grew up on the back of my dad''s 1992 F2. No need for a 1000rr, F4i will get me killed plenty fast.
A F4 has plenty of get and go to carry two people. A 250 is under pwoered if you want to cruise at 70 + mph, but is just dandy around town.
Honest to goodness I would ride a 250 CBR ...IF.... HONDA would sell them in the USA. I will not ride a ninja!

I''ll be 1 year on a 600 as my first bike the end of July....never got into any trouble cause of the bike.  I''ve had a few iffy moments cause of gravel and road undulations.
