Alright, Ive been waiting for some time to upload these pictures and expose my bike to the world of the interwebs.

We will start with stock - standard silver/red 2000 F4.  Very good til I laid her down last fall (see my first post).

Let the modding begin. I stripped all the fairings off and they were sent to the paint both for my custom white finish.

We (myself and friends) were working on all of our bikes at the same time.  As well as my MR2 which began its mod-cycle as well.

Since the fairings were gone, I finished up my new gauges

Then, since I HATE the silver bland frame, I decided to paint ''''er black.  This took alot of time with masking and prep.  All in all, I''''m quite happy with the results of my rattle-can job.

I recieved my fairings back from the booth.  Its a custom satin-white with matte clear with numerous pearls and flake.  So it shines but you cant see a reflection.

Now it time for reassembly.  I went through a week without my camera because I misplaced it (it was inside of the headlight opening of my MR2 :) )  I went ahead and replaced the tail with a smoked LED version.  I installed a Competition Werkes fender eliminator kit.  Installed 3-wire flush LED for the front turns.  Replaced my headlight with a HID kit (true HID - not just a silverstar bulb). And finally installed Vortex frame sliders to aid my next fall.  I also put on a eBay rear fender.  I''''m not very proud of it as its udder crap and will be replaced when I get time.

And now some pictures today which show some of my modifications

I hoped you enjoyed it.  I''''ll try to keep this updated with my future modifications.  Soon to come: Puig windscreen.  New Diablo front tire.  New rear fender.  Possibly some more carbon pieces. And 10,000 more miles. :)

I think if you polish and paint flat black the alterator and stator cover that bike will be sick. I did my frame and my swingarm mirror finish and my stator and alternator cover flat black and looks so nice.

Holy shit!  I''ve never really seen  a white bike that I actually liked but that thing is one of the nicest CBR''s I''ve ever seen.  Painting the frame black really did it.  Good job!

How is the paint on the frame holding up? I am considering doing this but not if it starts peeling quickly.

the frame is holding up fairly well.  I used an etch primer and semi-gloss from advance auto.  No scratches or peeling whatsoever
