Just put a bmc filter in my 02 f4i also, but haven't ridden it yet either. It does free rev alot better though as you said. Using a hindle though. Can't help you on that. Will have to wait and see how bike is on the road with new filter.

I also have a hindle slip on, thats why i havent riddin yet, i figured with the pipe and the air filter there would be a good chance of it going lean, last thing i want to do, bagger did you go with the yoshi ems?, also, i heard that powercommander maps and yosh maps are interchangeable, can anyone tell me if this is fact or fiction, and just to add why i went with the bcm and yosh ems is because when i first got my bike, i swapped riding a friends bike for a little bit, (01 f4i) he had the hindle slip on, powercommander, and a k&n filter, i couldnt tell much of a difference, thus the bcm and yosh for me, any input would make me jump like a school girl, thanks

I won't be remapping unless I absolutley need to. I have owned it since new so I will let you know. I haven't heard many good things about K&N filters on bikes so that is why I have a BMC.

ive always heard pc and k & n over yosh and bmc. i had a gsxr before and wanted to go with the whole yoshiumura set up but my local shop advised against it. so i had the full system with k & n , pc, and custom dyno done and was very happy with it!

well if it helps anyone i found that yosh maps and powercommander maps are interchangable, i got this responce from yosh r&d Mike, unfortunately, we don't offer a matching map for your particular combination of modifications... However, the following link directs you to the Dynojet website that has a map quite close to what you're after. Please download, copy and paste to your EMS system as these unit use the same basic grid. Thanks for your interest in Yoshimura products! so i guess i came out on top with the yosh ems cuz it can change timing for a lot less money then the pclllr, so i guess when the crapy washington weather changes i'll be playing with some different maps, as i found powercommander maps and yosh maps are different, even for the same bike and same combo
