(And I heard they melt and warp around the headers). I don''t mean to bash them, but there''s a dude here in town with a "Repsol" 600RR with those Hong-kong fairings and they''re horrible. He had a melting issue the frst week and quickly applied heat tape. Once the tape had been applied, his melting issues ceased. I met him a year after he put the plastics on and they looked great. I put sixty feet (60) of 1500 degree reflective heat tape on the entire inners of the mids and lowers.
