I ate some road recently and got two dents in my tank, one the size of a baseball and one about twice the size of a quarter, I was thinking of sanding them down and using primer...any suggestions?  I have the silver and black ''02 954, getting the whole tank repainted is expensive  and I was looking for a cheap fix?

I used to have a Hawkgt, and when I dented the tank, the shop filled it with compressed air and popped out the dent. Couldn''t even tell it there because there were no marks in the paint to begin with. Might help with yours as long as the dent is not sharp.

I dented my tank, when getting the bike repainted they pulled the dent as much as possible then filled it in with filler.
