127.8 HP on a very humid day last thursday

The guys said it wasn''''t the best day to run do to the humidity. I have a two bros m-2 bolt on, a/f''s were around 13.5 except I had a rich hiccup from 45-60 mph at 11.8. I ran the bike as soon as I pulled into the lot so it was a little hot.

Does this number sound a bit right considering the weather conditions or am I suffering from a lack of power?

I have never been dynoed, but compared to some of the numbers i have seen posted on here, it seems a lil low.  Lowest is usually around the mid 130s.  Maybe the humidity did play a factor.

Hmm, that doesn''t seem right.  127HP?  Here''s my dyno numbers.  I don''t have a scanner so bare with me.

I got more than that and my bike was off the chart lean when the initial run was done.  I have a K&N filter, Two Bros slip-on, and a PCIII.

http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn315/joshr18/Audi%20and%20Bike/dynoresults.jpg

Initial run yielded 138.6HP and 70.99 lbft. of torque

After custom map, results yielded 144.38HP and 74.21 lbft. of torque

I''''m going to try and dyno it elsewhere with decent weather to see if I get any different results. Its starting to seem really low now....it only has 9300 miles on it, I replaced the air filter yesterday but the old one wasn''''t even that dirty.

Even the most modified 1000rr there only put down 141. The rest were around 135-138.

600rr''s were putting down 103-104

Motorcyclist has them at 131 HP brand new and stock. They key here is that they only weigh 370 lb''s drynot many bikes that can touch that power to weight ratio.

What do they weigh wet?  I have done every weight reduction measure known to man and with my tank full my bike weighs 379

I don''t know what the wet weight is, but dry weight was advertised at 371 lbs I thought.

Gas weighs roughly 7lbs a gallon.  Times 4.8 gallons  4.8x7=33.6 lbs plus the 4 quarts of oil, 5 lbs give or take.  5 pounds for coolant, and the brake fluid, so id guess wet weight is roughly 414.6 +- a few.   So to have a bike that weighs  379 wet is a big accomplishment. That means I dropped roughly 35 lbs?   My math might be off, but my certified weight card is not :)

Your right onwet they are about 410 lbs which is a good 20-30 lbs less then the new litre bikes.
379 wet is almost impossible. Did you remove the fairing?

Even removing all the fairings you would not lose 20-30 lbs. They hardly have any weight to them. I don''t know what you did to lose all the weight...but just basing off what the advertised dry weight is, it is understandable that sum may think that weight is far fetched.

The new 1000rr has a curb weight of 439 pounds which is the "wet" weight. So if all numbers are correct...then yes the 954rr''s are lighter than even the newest liter bikes...although the new 1000 looks like it has nothing to it.

I just dynoed mine  and got some nice numbers...the tech said i had a nasty flat spot at 3k and could use a custom tune. But my bikes running better than it ever has and 150hp/72ftlbs is good enough for me
