Men, I decided to order some steel braided brake lines today. I was wondering should I invest in a vacuum pump as well? I imagine it will make the installation and bleeding a lot easier/faster. I was looking on ebay, and saw quite a few. Does it really matter what brand I buy, or do they all do the same thing? I saw some in the $30-$50 range and some over $100. If I buy the cheaper one, should I achieve the same results?

I do it without a pump all the time. Gravity first, then just use the brake lever and crack the bleeder appropriatly. It is a tad more messy of course, but nothing a can of .99 cent brake cleen cant fix
